Town of Niverville Water Supply

Background Information

The Town of Niverville needs a new water supply. Although existing wells have supplied relatively good water until now, turbidity (excessive sediment) and salinity have recently affected the water’s quality. The existing water supply cannot be upgraded to deal with these issues. The Town of Niverville must locate a new water supply in order to meet current demand and allow the town to grow well into the future.

Landmark Planning and Design has been retained to lead the public and stakeholder engagement component of this water supply project. Over the course of the project, the team will communicate project information to residents, landowners, and interested parties, provide regular updates on progress, seek input from stakeholders, and work to mitigate potential concerns. Landmark, along with Friesen Drillers and the Town of Niverville, will work towards achieving a provincial license for a new water supply.
